Victoria and David Harber with daughter Éowyn welcome you to The Red Lion pub in Overton, a venue with 300 years of history... and a more recent sprinkling of JRR Tolkien.
Victoria is an award-winning hospitality manager with 30 years experience in making people feel welcome at venues from small pubs to large event venues.
With his first pub job in 1990, David says he has learned that the key to successful pub management is "agreeing with the wife".
The Red Lion is a popular stop for visitors to the Bombay Sapphire distillery, which is a 20 minute walk down the road (and 40 minutes back!).
We are also an ideal stop-off for visitors to and contractors at the annual CarFest here in Overton. Motorhomes are welcome - please enquire here.
We are also the village's exclusive home of 'The Lionheart' and Brighton's favourite tipple, Tuaca (read more here).

Voted Pub of the Year 2023 by readers of the Basingstoke Gazette and Andover Advertiser we host Free Music Friday's to the village each week as well as our potentially world-famous Sunday meat draw.
